On 29th November 2023, Hong Kong Cyberport celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking a historic milestone with the number of community enterprises exceeding 2,000. Cyberport collaborate with The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers through Cyberport's entrepreneurship programmes including Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF), to assist outstanding engineering concepts translate into practical innovative solutions.
This year, EnerRight Intelligent won the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) award for its innovative RetroLogic AI. Developed by a university, RetroLogic AI is an advanced artificial intelligent system tailored for building retrofitting. This cutting-edge solution combines smart technologies, energy-saving features, and Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD) capabilities to enhance building efficiency and sustainability.
The celebration took place in the CyberArena at Cyberport, showcasing achievements over the past two decades while also holding the graduation ceremony for the latest cohort of the Entrepreneurship Program. Distinguished guests, including Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the HKSAR Government; Simon Chan, Chairman of Cyberport; Peter Yan, CEO of Cyberport; current and former board members of Cyberport; and representatives from different sectors, attended the event and visited various companies' research and development project booths.
In recent years, Cyberport has actively attracted key enterprises, drawing global tech talent, resources, and funding to help establish Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub. This year, 204 startups graduated from Cyberport's nurturing programs, including the Cyberport Incubation Program and the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund, injecting new vitality into the innovation and technology community. EnerRight Intelligent will continue to actively participate in various programs in the future, engaging with industry stakeholders to exchange technologies and promote relevant knowledge, contributing to energy-saving initiatives.
